Dying
Fresh flowers beginning to die,
This time you will not make me cry,
You’re not worth the effort I put in,
The way you treat people is a sin,
If you could only step back and see,
Just how mean you are to me,
Even when we are far apart,
You take every chance to break my heart,
I’ve washed my hands one final time,
No more caring for someone unkind,
Now, I know you don’t give a ####,
And surely you won’t understand,
I see that horrible thing inside,
It makes everyone run and hide,
I was wrong you were right,
No more talking I lost this fight,
This poem is not for you to read,
It’s a reminder to me of you being mean.
Imprint
I take three steps back to see,
To see just what you mean to me,
Maybe this you already know,
But inside you make me glow,
A thought of you on my mind,
Makes me smile every time,
I pray that you may never forget,
You’ve forever made an imprint.
Left without a word...
Nothing ever felt so right,
Holding you in my arms so tight,
Scared shitless I gave you my heart,
You took, crush and tore it apart,
My eyes begged for one kiss,
You just turned and dismissed,
You quickly make your way to leave,
Me not knowing what to believe,
I gave you all, with everything to lose,
I left it with you, for you to choose,
Different I thought you were,
Wiped away in a harsh blur,
At least I learned something this day,
I just learned how to get played.
Desire
Sitting in front of me,
Able to touch and see,
Unable to reach or be,
It's there laughing at me,
A desire so great,
I would pay any rate,
So much on one plate,
I told my best mate,
Just one small taste please,
It'll make my curiosity ease,
I know it'll only be a tease,
But can I try some please.
