The moon rock
Written by tonyWhere the magic lies,
In this rock from the moon,
Holding it in your palm,
Communes with the builder of typhoons;
To consume and swoon down,
Encompassing your soul,
This is the power of the Moon Rock,
Or so I am told;
Upon further inspection,
A scientific thesis,
It becomes clear this rock,
And all of its pieces;
Are bound to the Earth,
There hide its true origins,
Though the power above,
Is still the true fortune;
But like Dumbo once learned,
As he grew older,
The magic is not in the feather,
But in its beholder.
