Breeding a falsehood of peace,
A love thy neighbour abiding law,
An abiding law now deceased.
A fueled commitment trialed,
Once worked in a darkened age,
Was then enforced in vain,
since discarded in modern day.
Now is a life lived,
by self love and self gain,
A life of friendly sobriety,
Tis but remnants that remain.
A sunnyville of happiness,
Is only achieved in Hollywood lives,
For todays society of peace,
Is only built on ageing lies.
We cast ourselves in further,
In foolishly believing what we see,
Which only buries our hopes deeper,
Casting away our lives carelessly.
