shattered torn and grazed
beaten until every morn
yet still you live unfazed

the world of illusion is where it belies
the torment hatred and the lies
conjured up by conscience objection
realitised by conjecture and rejection

this dream is truth
this dream is real
are you really asleep
or is you dream the shattered hope of reality?
