Rain game
Written by fabee_babeeCrippling emotions that won't subside,
Deeper down my feelings hide,
To surface only in the night,
And shy away at hint of light.
Bitter tears I shed alone,
In my room and on my own,
No comfort offered, No love earnt,
Wick like life with both ends burnt.
A blanket hides me like a shell,
Laughter ringing like a bell
Of what life should really be,
treasured for all eternity.
Instead smiles only mocking me,
I know each one is false,
Artificial as a prosthetic leg,
As hollow as a dead mans pulse.
Life is a game cruelly played
We have so much left to lose,
If I had a goal I would've stayed,
But 'Death' is what I choose.
And so my game is relinquished,
I set aside my pawns,
I decide to play as an observer,
And watch the incoming storms.
