Rain Clouds

Written whilst I sat by the canal watching the rain clouds move ever closer, letting the cold air numb me and realising how alone I truly am.

Rain drops fall like tears
Soaked by all these fears
Grey clouds line the sky
They refuse to just float by
Their dark mist engulfs me
A grey, numbness enters me
No sweet, gentle kiss
I am alone in this
